In the “A Better Use” quest for ARC Raiders, you’ll need to request a Supply Drop from a Call Station and loot it. It’s a simple but timing-based mission, since Supply Drops aren’t guaranteed to spawn every match.

Step 1: Prepare and Choose Your Map

This quest can be completed on any map, but Dam Battlegrounds is highly recommended — it’s the first map most players unlock and offers easy access to Call Stations and extraction points.

Before deploying, use a free loadout. The task doesn’t involve much combat, so there’s no need to risk your valuable gear.

Step 2: Locate a Call Station

Once you spawn into the map, start looking for Call Stations — these are your key to calling in a Supply Drop.
Not every station will be active in a round, so if one isnt at the location when you get there, move on to another.

Step 3: Request a Supply Drop

When you find an active Call Station, approach and interact with it to request a Supply Drop.
Your character will fire a red flare into the sky, signaling the drop zone.

Stay nearby while waiting — within a short time, you’ll see the Supply Drop descending.

Step 4: Loot the Supply Drop

Once the Supply Drop lands, run to it and breach it open.
The quest only requires that you interact with the drop — you don’t need to take any of the items inside — but you should still check, as drops often contain high-value gear.
