When thrown, it detonates after a short delay, revealing the positions of ARCs and other Raiders within a 6-meter area for 30 seconds. This allows you to track their movements, which can help you plan your next steps or avoid being surprised.
You can craft this grenade at the Utility Station level 1 once you have learned the 
Tagging Grenade Blueprint.
