Zipline Test Plan Description
Step 0
Prepare! You will need to team up with another ranger for this test. Pick a cloudy day when the park is empty. Early morning is best.
Step 1
Locate a high point to install your line.
Step 2
Install a sturdy anchor on a flat surface or a wall.
Step 3
Wait for your colleague to install their own anchor!
Step 4
Extend a rope between both points. Lightweight spider silk can float in the wind between anchor points. Be absolutely sure to connect it on both sides!
Step 5
Glide down or use your zipline ascending device to reach your colleague! Don’t forget, the ranger starting from the lowest point should bring the device with them, otherwise someone could get trapped!
Step 6
Disassemble anchors and return materials to the nearest outpost.
Step7
Report your findings to your supervisor. Happy zipping!
