There was magic once, in this bow, though it has mostly faded now. Runes were ground down and mixed with plant oils, to create a special resin that allowed the Wild Knights to work their magic through the bow, as if they were carrying runes. That magic has faded away, and the recipe for the mixture lost to the ages, but these bows are still formidable in their own right.
