| A Fortuitous Beginning | Employee 51, personal log, June 8th, 1992.
Who would have ever thought that I, a humble corporate scientist, would make history as the very first researcher in charge of taming insects! Mrs. Beaumont confirmed it: this has NEVER been done before, and I’m inclined to believe her. She has full access to months of park records. They say this company never throws away anything!
Black ants are a great first target. They are social insects, sturdy enough to be exploited, but not so dangerous that we would need extensive protective gear. A smart choice!
We will have a breakthrough soon! I simply know it! | Key Items
| Abomination Totem | A terrifying totem made from the remains of fallen foes. | Building & Utilities | |
| Abysmal Training | Did anybody even take a single glance at the employee manual before swimming down here? It say, black and white: “Maintain a safety perimeter of at least 10 centimeters around any creature.” Do I need to print it on poster boards?
Do I know what centimeters are at this scale? No. But it’s pretty self-explanatory. Don’t get near anything that moves.
82 is the THIRD member of the research team sent to the hospital just this week by one of these shrimp-things.
Can you believe getting conked out by a literal shrimp?

| All This For What? | The network is down. There’s no way of getting out of here alive. And I have nothing to show for it... They destroyed everything. Every report, every note. The only sign of 555 is a document about redacting a document that isn’t even here. She's long gone and so are whatever secrets were down here. The station is half-flooded and falling apart. | An Official Counter-Proposal | I submit for immediate review a COUNTER proposal to my colleague’s ladybug idiocy.
Do we have a sour spill problem in the garden? Maybe. Is the solution to this potential issue to strap office furniture to a bug? Are you insane?
According to the domestication team, even simple ants are impossible to manage. We need a creature we can trust!
Let’s use King Dozer, my pet lizard, to clear the sour spills. He is gentle, aloof, and can be easily motivated with treats. I brought him to the park today for a demonstration.
This will be MY final proposal for the cleanup efforts.

| An Official Proposal | I, Employee 362 of the Candy Processing Facility, would like to submit for review this official proposal for the maintenance and cleanup of environmental hazards originating in our installations.
We have all seen the reports about sour flavors popping up in random places in the garden. This is undeniably due to our carelessness. We must address this issue at once or face environmental degradation across the garden.
I propose using fauna resistant to the effects of sour (namely ladybugs, a sturdy peaceful insect). By simply mounting a water cannon on the back of one, we could dilute pools of concentrated sour, rendering them entirely or mostly harmless.
I believe research efforts are ongoing in other parts of the park to domesticate insects. As soon as they figure out how to tame them, we will be ready with equipment to turn them into a veritable sour fighting brigade.
This will be my first and final proposal for the cleanup efforts. – Employee 362 | Key Items
